on a completely different note, i was pretty skeptical of the whole hope thing for obama from hearing a particular pre-election speech reassuring isreal that he would continue keeping them well armed, so they could keep killing palestinians. i have now lost all remaining faith in him. "we did not ask for this fight"... ugh....i really want to rant....

agreed. also recently announced that 30,000 more troops are being sent to Afghanistan.
kind of started becoming bummed this summer about the whole situation when I got overly attached to what was going on in Iran - rants could most definitely begin.
