Paper Thin

working on a series of pics which i'm really liking, acrylic and pen on paper. will have a good few of them in next weeks show. for now here's a sketch from a bunch i started yesterday with a certain morning ritual of emily's (a treeless emily, but she deserves a rest). i am liking the simple pencil drawings lately.

haven't updated site in a while. family things and quiet time. but been drawing away. here's a few, i'll scan properly later. found a new paper from daintree, a carbon neutral recycled paper. they are awfully thoughtful in there.



i did laugh quite heartily when i drew this one....but that's probably just my sense of humour;

on a completely different note, i was pretty skeptical of the whole hope thing for obama from hearing a particular pre-election speech reassuring isreal that he would continue keeping them well armed, so they could keep killing palestinians. i have now lost all remaining faith in him. "we did not ask for this fight"... ugh....i really want to rant....

i had some interesting ideas over the weekend for projects and pictures to start on and was eager to get working on them today. somewhere between the kitchen and the studio i got distracted and this happened instead...

strat, behringer (with built-in delay), pro rat, and an electric handmixer... the desperate nostalgia of a quasi-dexterous musician... there's an album in there i'm sure.
