today i made more books

shaky and hungry

hungry today, insatiably. night of strange dreams. the worrying, slightly disturbing kind. and my hands have been shaking for ages. looking forward to david attenborough's new show tonight, "life" on bbc1. here's some pictures for monday.

the workspace

a friend will be helping me build a desk for my studio sometime soon. in the meantime a structure of undefinable sorts has been assembling itself in its place. i'm growing rather fond of it and only occasionally think i should perhaps be doing something.....else. so far consists of various multi-colored polystyrene blocks, a few lengths of mdf, a wood-work bench, a handful of cardboard boxes and anything else lying around in arms reach. i'm pretty sure i've put more time and thought into assembling this ever-growing organism than any painting or drawing i've done in about a month.
