Here's a little series of heads in pencil and acrylic on small box canvases kindly given to me by a friend. hopefully should have them finished later for Sunday's market.



This was just from a sketch i did earlier in the week. its been a while since i messed about with pictures in photoshop. i'm quite happy with this one though. might do a series of prints.

went to see laura marling in the academy at the weekend. brilliant gig. she is most certainly one of my favourite vocalists around at the minute. some lovely new songs. personal highlight may have been goodbye england, covered in snow. love it.


the support acts were quite good too, boy and bear, bit of an australian fleet foxes. and this girl who's name i missed and i can't find online anywhere who she might have been. anyone know?

birds like flying

here's one i posted a few days ago finished, a little more defined. and another few, which are basically different versions of the same image. but i like them all. though one's unfinished. and the last pic is a giant bird outside the kitchen this morning. awesome.

überblogage

so today i put together a little box set, something of a promotional pack to send around to knowledgable folks. i was thinking of making one or two up to sell on Etsy. there's 2 or 3 printed books (with images from hier ünd hier), a selection of postcard-size prints and maybe one or two other fun bits. kind of a selected works of me.







would anyone be interested in that kinda thing? i could do customised ones too, with original drawings. talk to me people.

here's a new one, nearly done. the usual dimensions of these ones, the acrylic on card, are 12.5cm x 24.5cm (5 x 9 inches). people have asked about her story. what stories i have for her, i haven't figured out how to tell just yet, or they're coming out backwards. so, i think the plan is to just keep churning out pictures until i feel i've enough to form a selection of narratives. i'm not good with directing creativity. anyway, here you go;
